“A healthy community works to connect people and resources to improve the health of all.”

Access to resources is critical when making changes in the community and in finding ways to participate in the community process. In this section we offer you tools and information to guide you along the way and maybe even inspire you to getting involved in your community.

A note about resources:
Sometimes we forget that some of our most valuable resources are our neighbors, the people we work with, our families, our partners, our friends; they are all keys to making things happen in our lives. The same principle applies with the Healthy Communities Approach and the best place to begin the journey toward a healthier lifestyle and healthier communities is to value and rely on one another.
